Access Facilities Here at the Museum we do all we can to guarantee vistors' comfort. Accessibility is a key priority, to ensure that all our vistors receive the same level of satisfaction. For those visitors with particular requirements there is a selection of facilities to make their visit more enjoyable.
*Please contact us in advance so we can ensure the use of these facilities. We are currently in the process of updating our Access Policy. If you have any comments or concerns you feel the Museum should be aware of please do let us know.
Street Wise The Museum is about a 15 minute walk from Bath Spa railway station and Bath bus station. It is an uphill walk and is quite steep in places. Bath is also well known for its uneven pavements. Taxis are available from the station and we are happy to order a taxi for you after your visit. Those in possession of a Disabled Parking Permit (also known as a Blue Badge) may park in any car park, such as Charlotte Street car park (up to the maximum time limit), free of charge. You may also park all day for free on Bennett Street and any on-street parking bays and residents areas. On double or single yellow lines a maximum of 3 hours is allowed provided no obstruction is being caused. You must however, display both your badge and clock. For further information about the scheme in Bath call Bath Parking Services on 01225 477134. Bath and North East Somerset Council recognises Disabled Permits issued in other countries. |
