A Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution exhibition
in association with the Museum of East Asian Art
At the BRLSI, Queen Square, Bath.

An exhibition examining the history of ceramics, as a technology that has shaped our material culture through time.
The exhibition was first inspired by the BRLSI’s collection of Bronze Age, Classical and South American pottery, but it was soon realised that this presented only a fragmented story. As such, the Museum of East Asian Art has contributed some key objects, images and information in order to help broaden this story.
