The adult education programme is designed for those with an interest in East Asian art, history and culture. There is a variety of workshops catering for people with practical interests such as brush painting, ceramic painting and ikebana (Japanese flower arranging). Some workshops are conducted by members of staff while others are taught by colleagues invited from other institutions.

These sessions last approximately two hours and are generally on-site during the week.
