In conjunction with the MEAA’s “Chinese Ceramics & the Early Modern World” Exhibition, Lars Tharp (Director of the Foundling Museum and ceramics consultant on the BBC’s Antiques Roadshow) explores the fascinating place of ceramics in global history.
5.30pm – Special view of exhibition at MEAA in the presence of the Museum’s Curator and Lars Tharp
7.30pm – “Pots, Power and Beauty” Lecture at the Guildhall
8.30pm – Drinks reception at the Guildhall
Cost: £7 (£5 for MEAA Friends) book at least 5 days in advance
Ticket includes all of the above entertainment.
A ticket is required even if you do not intend to attend every part of the evening, and must be shown to gain admission both at the Museum and the Guildhall.
