Japanese Koto Concert

Koto expert and musician, Kaya Izumi, will be coming to the Museum from Japan for this wonderful concert of koto music, including a short talk on the history of the koto.
The koto is a traditional stringed musical instrument and is the national instrument of Japan. Kaya was born and raised in Japan by a Buddhist Priest and a Koto teacher. She has become a well-versed expert of the koto.
